COURSE TOPICS
The curriculum is centered around the straight-wire technique, the most widely adopted method in modern orthodontics. Over the past three decades, continuous innovations in materials and clinical protocols have significantly enhanced this approach.
- Digital photography for clinical documentation
- OnyxCeph software: Import/export, image editing, cephalometric analysis
- 3D model processing: Import, segmentation, measurement, and digital diagnostic setups
- Design and fabrication of 3D trays for indirect bonding and in-house aligners
- 3D printed appliances: RPE, mesio- & disto sliders, drilling templates for mini screws

LECTURER
DR. GUIDO SAMPERMANS
Graduated in 1980 as a general dentist from the University of Leuven in Belgium. In 1986, he opened his first private orthodontic clinic in Belgium, followed by other modern clinics in Germany (1997), the Netherlands (2003 and 2010), and Vienna, Austria (2015). All of these clinics and training centers are known for their high-quality orthodontic care, efficient workflows, and use of the latest digital technologies.
For more than 20 years, he has taught both orthodontic techniques and practice management in Europe and internationally. He regularly organizes micro-seminars in his clinic, focusing on self-ligating bracket systems, indirect bonding, digital 3D technology in orthodontics, and modern clinic management.
Since 2003, Dr. Sampermans has spoken at more than 50 international orthodontic congresses.
He has been using active self-ligating bracket systems for over 20 years and has successfully treated more than 8,000 cases with this method.
