COURSE DESCRIPTION
For several patients the interdisciplinary evaluation contains the success key of the dental and orthodontic therapy. The high percentage of subjects needing or asking for an orthodontic treatment with dental discrepancies and anomalies of shape, size and number or presenting simple or complex impactions of teeth or with periodontal diseases, require a mandatory interdisciplinary approach.
Thus for these patients is by merging the orthodontics point of view with the esthetic and functional direct and indirect rehabilitation options and with surgery and periodontal therapy, that is possible to arrive at a correct diagnosis and treatment plan and to lead an effective and customized therapy accordingly
with the patient needs and wishes.
During this course it will be presented the pathway to follow in order to settle a successful orthodontic treatment strategy by means of interdisciplinary intervention options
